Excellent summary of what exactly happened with us. A shonky partner claiming the top certification from Microsoft bungled the implementation and it was only because I had a previous installation done by another Navision Partner that the project could be salvaged. As for MS and their handling and customer support, well does running away and hiding count as customer support? I have been approach by a few companies and warned them off Navision unless they know the partner as MS certification of partners is a very bad joke. Only implementations that have gone ahead have been ones where I recommended our current partner. MS has a big issue and has no respect afforded to it by me and sites I know of that have had similar experience. In fact, I do anything to avoid MS products and even avoid upgrading something a basic as Office software to avoid giving money to the evil empire. MS have made an enemy for life with me.

Cheers Brett

I'll be updating a new blog post about NAV2009. There hasn't been enough new implementations for NAV2009 for me to write about it.
