UCP Friends & Foes

This one is new and quite interesting. What are friends for? Well, in general you want to keep them close! How? I think it is easier to explain it with an example.

  • Manage friends

If for example you send a lot of PM’s to a certain person, in the new version you always needed to type in his/her name or search it in the list. If you define the person as a friend, you don’t need to do it anymore. You can just click on the add-button near the name and it will be added as the person to send a PM to (later more on PM’s). You also see if they are online or not. If the person wants his online status to be hidden, you won’t see him as online.

First you must define your friends. In each line you put a name (or you search the person in the list) and hit the submit button.

Now you will see that they have been defined as your friends. In the left-bottom box you see who is online and who is offline. The different colours indicate to which group the person belongs (or his default group). You can see the legend on the index-page under “Who is online”.

  • Manage foes

If someone is bombarding you with PM’s you don’t want. You can just put the user on the foes list. This way you won’t be disturbed by his PM’s anymore. (Well, the PM’s of administrators and moderators will still arrive…. So no luck on this one!)

One last remark on the foes-function. Remember what Sun-tzu said: Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

  1. What impact does my C/AL have on SQL - The Key virtual table…

The "Key" virtual table contains information about the keys that are defined in each table…
