Alternating lines in a report

This database demonstrates how to create a report that has alternating lines (gray line, white line, gray line etc.). As far as I know, this cannot be done with shapes, as even C/SIDE 3.70 cannot print shapes with a background colour. :(

I use a simple 2-bit bitmap, that is wide enough to stretch an entire line.
