Using a record from dataport as a codeunit parameter

Hi there !
First of all, thanks again for my previous problem, it is now solved.
Now, I've got a new problem ^^
So, I now have a codeunit that generates barcodes for different packages. I would like to use this codeunit in the dataport I normally use to create the file I need.
Sadly, I can't seem to get the record the dataport is currently treating.
How should I proceed ?
If you need parts of my code, please ask and I will try to provide you with what you need.
