I have made an application using NAV, that is going to send mail to the customer, using the customer’s email id that is specified in the customer master. For this, you have to specify the name of your SMTP server, in the application setup.
The problem is, if the customer is having same DNS as the sender(say both are sonata employees), then the mail is getting sent without any hindrance. But if the customer is having some other account like (XXX@gmail.com
), then the NAV server is issuing a strange error, saying, that ‘the server rejected one or more recipient address. The server response was: 5126.96.36.199. unable to relay for XXX@gmail.com
What could be the reason? Do I need to configure something else? Is there any setting in outlook which is actually hindering this message sending?
