Change Log Management not working

Hello Everyone,

One of our clients wants to track all tables associated with G/L Transactions.
17 G/L Entry
21 Cust. Ledger Entry
113 Sales Invoice Line
123 Purch. Inv. Line
125 Purch. Cr. Memo Line
179 Reversal Entry
203 Res. Ledger Entry
271 Bank Account Ledger Entry
272 Check Ledger Entry

I have set 'All Fields' for Insert, Modify, Delete for the tables specified above. I have enabled Change Log Activated. I restarted NAV/Company. I tried Creating a SI, and Posted it, but the system did not create entries for G/L Entry and Sales Invoice Line in the Change Log Entries table.

Any idea whats going on?

Note - NAV 5.0 SP1, but these objects are being run in NAV 2009 R2.

    While searching online, I found a post that stated that Change Log only logs manual changes (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=25838&start=0). That is why the G/L Entry table does not create an entry in the Change Log Entries since it gets created via code (same applies to Sales Invoice Line).

    I hope this explanation helps someone in the future who is dealing with the same/similar problem.

    When I went to the table and manually modified Sales invoice Line description field, then the system created an entry in the Change Log.
