Hi

When trying to assign a different resource/recource group to a new line on page 6005 Service order allocation - Table 5950 Service Order Allocation i get the following error

"Only one Resource can be allocated to a Service Item Line"

The error is thrown i the function "CheckAllocationEntry" in table 5950.

Can anybody tell me why I cant use 2 diferent resources?

With summer greetings

Tommy

This should not be a problem.
I don't get an error in NAV2016 beta.

    On what version are you?

IMO Microsoft sees only one person being able to work on a Service Item Line at a time, so the concept of assign 2 people to the same SIL doesn't exist. I say this because as you saw, you get an error when you try to assign someone else. In order to change the allocation from one person to another, you have to re-allocate.

You can get around this by adding the Service Item to another Service Item Line and allocating a different person to it, although this may throw off statistics.

I'm curious if this is something "fixed" per below.
