Well, I'm currently updating the PFG, editing/correcting this & that, adding some stuff about 5.0 SP1, updating the version lists etc. ...

I guess the updated version will be available in September/October ...

Need help on how to order in US! I did a search on "978-3-8370-1442-6" of amazon.com and did not find any match.

    Thanks

Finally ordered off amazon.de. Google Translate and cut/paste is doable.

    Thanks,

Just for the record, the book is awesome. Check boxes that were never explained anywhere, are clear.

Thanks, and waiting to buy the revised edition.

    Hi,

I have just got your book this morning.

Thumbs up for your English - as English is not your native language, your text are easily understanble and straight to the point - which for other non-native English readers is an advantage.

Information is really interesting and useful. I am not sure I agree with everything, but that's where I need to try it myself and check.

Definitely a good value for your money.

Please don't hesitate and come up with your opinion and experiences! The basic idea of that "Field Guide" is to put information from various sources together and combine it with experiences and "best practices" to support NAV administrators and developers on the job. Well, the only experiences I have are my own ones.
But when it's up to "performance optimization" we have to face new challenges nearly every day, so we need to learn and improve constantly. And off course I would like to learn from others, as well!

    Cheers,
    Jörg
