    Hi,

I just found your tool CAL Completer and installed it.

I have just a quick question:

When in C/AL Editor and I start typing for example "fin" then the CAL Completer Window opens, showing all commands starting with "fin".

When I now select "FINDFIRST" from the CAL Completer using cursor keys and then ENTER than the CAL Completer Window closes but the selected command is not copied to C/AL Editor.

Bug or feature, or did I miss somethig?

I'm using WinXP Pro with SP2 and Navision 4 SP3.

    Regards,
    Rolf

    Same thing happening to me.
It seems that it is a active window problem. When you start to move on that list of commands the system places focus to that window so I presume CAL Completer don't know where to paste the function you selected.

Workaround is to press Alt+Tab before you hit Enter.

If anybody knows a better way I would like to know it because CAL Completer worked just fine on my old computer so this is kind of frustrating :(

Also, WIN XP pro SP2, NAV 4.0 SP2
Better to be critical then self-critical :)

    Hi,

I've released the source-code of CAL Completer.

    Please read:

I would be very happy if it was possible to get current user in the comments. Because we tag all are changes with the username and then it would be great if the username could be automatic

    Hi

Maybe you can add the option:
    Min. 2 character match mode

Because now if you have the 3 char mode active and you type 'if' nothing happens ;)

    Good Job Emiel Romein, ..

    Suggestion:
I would make a parameter for the "3 min Character completion" so its an "<X> min char .."

    Bug??:
Sometimes, whatever i do, the text does NOT come in my CAL Editor .. the completer window just closes ..
Also, When i disable the "3minchar" setting so it works for if statements:
    - I enter "IF", the completer opens
    - I select an IF THEN BEGIN statement and enter
    Result:
    IF {??} THEN BEGIN

    END;
    if

My old "if" is still there :x

Also, on ALL single-line completions: does not work: i can select it, but whatever i do (again), it does not get entered into the editor, no matter what mouse/keyboard combo's i use ..

Now don't let my whining get u down, it's still an awesome tool, but i won't be using it because of there reasons..

I'm using (straight from the About window from navision) this Navision:
    "Version BE 4.0 SP1 (5.0 SP1)" .. it's an SQL..

Any clue on why? Would be awesome!
    Tnx ..
