Hi All,

Currently I am getting an error when opening the User>User Option form as

"A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)"

To resolve this I have tried following things
1.Enable TCP/IP port in SQL Server Confugaration Manager.
2.Adding port 1433 in Windows Firewall Exceptions
3.Activating Remote Login in SQL Server Surface Confugaration Manager
4.Changing the service Log On account as Domain User account
but without any +ve result.

I have AX 2009 SP1 and DB -Oracle 10g

Kindly help..

Thanks in advance.

RANA

I think AX is expecting that the database server is a Microsoft SQL Server...
