    Hi mdPartnerNL,

    einsTeIn.NET is right. What you do is:

    1. Open the Action Worksheet
    2. Add all OM tables with "Action Type" = "Delete Data" (Ctrl+G)
    3. Press start
    4. Manual delete the records in the "OM - Action Group" table
    4. Delete all OM objects in the Object Designer

    Hi. I am trying OMA on a request from my boss, but I can't make it to work with TFS.
    I am using Visual Studio 2008 + TFS with comaptibility patch, the server is TFS 2010. The only response i get is "No response from repository".
    The repository path and TFS Executable path are accurate. What should I do?

    Hello Reijer,

    I have two suggestions for enhancements:

    - "Where used" found objects which are called in the menus <= 3.70 directly (not yet found)

    - "Where used" should also looking for reports in Tables 77 and 243 (all clients)

    How do you think?

    Hi - we are looking at solutions to replace our current version control software. How does the OMA handle TIF files for form -to -page transformation? Are we able to store these files in the repository?
    Thanks!

    No, that's not possible.
    But you are allowed to change the OMA the way you want so it's possible to add this functionality by yourself.

    Great addon, small question, in the Client Monitor Analyzer, what's the difference between Elapsed Time and Time Lag?
  • reijermolenaarreijermolenaar Member Posts: 256
    The Client Monitor only measures the duration of the data actions.
    If you have a process that takes time because it has to calculate a lot or because it works with temporary tables you can't see it in the client monitor.
    The time lag measures the time between two data actions so you can see roughly where this takes place and what the impact is.

    Don't know if this has been suggested yet but in the where used in, it would be helpful to see if a table is a temporary record.
  • einsTeIn.NETeinsTeIn.NET Member Posts: 1,050
    hmmm... don't know if I understand you correctly. Temporary Tables are only "created" on demand. That means if you use a temporary record in any other "real" object then there will be a copy of the table (where your record is based on) within a certain number range. That would mean you have to execute some function/trigger to create that table and then update your "Where used..." table of OMA. Since your temporary table will disappear when you close your client, it doesn't make no sense to update the "Where used..." table by such kind of tables.

    I think I know what you mean.
    When you e.g. zoom in on the INSERT trigger of table "Tracking Specification" you see a lot of code that regards temporary records. It would indeed be nice if you easily can see which record is the real insert!
    I will add it to our to do list.

    Dear Sir,

    Sorry for disturbed ... Due to job needs, I had surveyed Object Manager Advanced for Microsoft Navision Objects management (download from Mibuso web-site, Trial edition, Due date is 30-6-2012)... But I now have some problem make me had to uninstall this software. The situations as below -

    1. I have changed Server Date to 01-07-2012 for expired validation. Somthing happend, it always show a message to alert this edition already expired. How can I do to uninstall this software to aovide the alert message show again?

    2. It seems embeded in my Server or SQL DB, whenever I re-create new DB (DB name is same as before) or Import objects from Backup file which made before install OMA tools. I found the related objects of OM always exists in Objects Designer of NAV, so does in my customer DB. It will be a terrible for me to maintain System or DB.

    3. Even I deleted all objects of OMA, there will be an exception when I excuted the menu setup of NAV, the system always show the message - "Form 91801 was not found!". I knew the root cause is the OMA objects already deleted, but how can I do to avoide this situation happen?

    Due to above-mention issues, could you please give me a hand to teach me how to recovery my System & DB environment same as before (not install OM yet). thanks for your kindness ...

    There is a bug when you remove the lock. It would always clear the version list.

    END;
    RemoveTagObject()
    IF Object.GET("Object Type", '', "Object No.") THEN
    IF UpdateVersionListRemoveLocked(Object) THEN
    IF VersionControl.ModifyPermission(Object) THEN BEGIN
    IntegrationMgt.SetSkipNextTrace(TRUE);
    Object."Version List" := NewVersionList; // there is the problem
    Object.MODIFY;
    IntegrationMgt.SetSkipNextTrace(FALSE);
    END;

    Not sure if this has already been asked, is it possible to set-up some kind of idle time between two SendKeys statements?

    Yes, this is possible.

    Fill in a value in the field "Pause Between Send Key Strokes" in the "OM - Setup" table.
    The default is 150 (ms).

    I'm blind like a bat, but I can't find it on Object Manager Setup Card. Anyway I was able to set it directly in the table. It was set to 0, not 150. :o Maybe that's why I got some problems when opening Design Mode of some Objects. Thanks a lot.

    Even an Eagle will not find it. It's not there. :)

    It's only reachable straight in the table. Changing it to 150 will make no difference because 150ms is used when it's empty. So you're problem will still be there I guess...

    It would be very helpful and appreciable if you can add an (explanatory) video or just write here how to setup OM to work with Team Foundation Server. When I try to make a repository on TFS I'm getting an error "There are conflicts that has to be resolved manually.".
