mibuso.com RSS Feed Widget

1.1 What is it?

mibuso.com RSS Feed Widget is a "Widget" that displays up to 10 topic-titles from the mibuso.com forum, right on your desktop. Clicking on a topic, will open up your browser pointing to the right forum thread.

Before this Widget can be used, you have to install the Yahoo! Widget Engine. This Engine is free of charge, and can be found at http://widgets.yahoo.com.

1.2 Installation

• Make sure you already have installed the Yahoo! Widget Engine
• Copy the file "mibuso RSS Feed.widget" to your Widget directory (default location: My Documents\My Widgets)
• Right-click on the Yahoo! Widget Engine icon in your Tray, and select "Open Widget"
• Select the "mibuso RSS Feed.widget" and it will start

1.3 Modify settings

The "Widget Preferences" form let you change the URL of the RSS-feed. The default URL is http://www.mibuso.com/rss/?feed=5&c=10&t=1.

Other mibuso.com RSS URL's can be found at http://www.mibuso.com/rssfeeds.asp.

The Widget is capable of displaying up to 10 topic titles. If you change the value of "&c=10" to "&c=5" in the RSS URL, only 5 topics are displayed.

The Preferences form also let you change the interval for reloading the RSS Feed.
