1.1 What does this program do

This InstallScript_NavisionW140SP2.exe program performs a unattended installation of Microsoft Navision W1 4.0 SP2. A /setup parameter is optional to specify the type of installation.

1.2 Installation

copy the folder \Client from the Navision Product CD to a directory on your harddisk or network disk
copy the file InstallScript_NavisionW140SP2.exe to this same directory

1.3 How to use the program

You can execute the installer, by double-clicking the file InstallScript_NavisionW140SP2.exe.
When no parameters are given, the installer performs a Minimum-installation!

If you want to change the type of installation, you can supply the program with the /setup-parameter:

InstallScript_NavisionW140SP2.exe /setup=minimum : performs a Minimum installation (= default)
InstallScript_NavisionW140SP2.exe /setup=complete : performs a Complete installation
InstallScript_NavisionW140SP2.exe /setup=custom : performs a Custom installation

Note 1: The installation script uses Alt-Char keystrokes to automatically select the correct options. Therefore, it will only work when run in a English Windows version.

Note 2: Not much error-checking has been included in this release. The installation script will only work when no Navision version has been installed yet.
