Celenia Software takes on North America
ATLANTA — 5 NOVEMBER, 2007 — In response to increasing demand from customers, Celenia® Software has opened a full-service office in Atlanta, Georgia and a sales office in Redmond, Washington. Celenia Software offers Add-on Products and Partner Services within the Microsoft Dynamics area. The company’s corporate headquarter is based in Aalborg, Denmark, and Celenia runs two development centers in Ukraine.
Microsoft welcomes Celenia Celenia is the largest external developer on Microsoft’s ERP systems; more than 120 Celenia developers work exclusively on development and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics AX and NAV. Microsoft welcomes Celenia’s decision to expand their American activities: “We are very pleased with Celenia’s entry into the U.S because it gives American Microsoft partners access to specialized development resources within Microsoft Dynamics NAV, AX and CRM. Celenia has long since proven the high quality of their work to Microsoft and I am confident that our American partners will experience the same”, said Mogens Elsberg, General Manager, Microsoft Dynamics. “We experience a lot of growth in the areas Celenia represents and with Celenia’s presence in the American market, Microsoft will have more resources available to satisfy the demands of the market.” Celenia will be attending Directions, a conference for the Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner community, in Orlando, Florida this week. Increasing demand from American partners Celenia will be expanding its existing American partner network and Atlanta was chosen as the location for the American headquarters because it offers convenient access to both Europe and many locations in America. The office is headed by Vice President Karina Nielsen, who has been with Celenia for five and a half years, previously as Sales and Marketing Manager at Celenia’s headquarters in Denmark. “Celenia was experiencing increasing demand from American partners and the American market for Dynamics products is growing. We wanted to be closer to our current and future customers, and we felt that the time was right to establish a full-service organization in the US. Celenia has had a firm foothold in the European market for years and has superior competences in the areas of specification, development, testing, documentation, localization and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics solutions. We look forward to expanding our products and services further in the US and gear them to the needs of the American market,” Karina Nielsen said. Early access to Microsoft technology Celenia’s office in America is staffed with account managers and solution architects. The solution architects assist partners with specification of solutions and act as the connecting link between partners and Celenia’s Development Centers. “It is our vision to empower the North American Microsoft Partners within Microsoft Dynamics. Due to our close collaboration with Microsoft, we have early access to new Microsoft technology and our ISV partners benefit from our ability to advise about opportunities associated with new Microsoft developments. It enables them to bring their products to market immediately after Microsoft’s introduction of new initiatives, which is a great advantage for the ISVs,” Karina Nielsen said.
