Helios-IT targets the world market
Transfer of Tectura Netherlands assets builds upon an intensive partnership Helios-IT, the Belgian-Dutch supplier of business software using the Microsoft Dynamics™ platform, has assumed the assets of the Dutch branch of Tectura. This transfer puts Helios-IT in a position to exchange knowledge and products at an international level with Tectura, one of the largest Microsoft Dynamics partners in the world.
With a global staff of 1,850, Tectura is an important market player. Tectura wants to concentrate its core activities on countries where it has a leading market position. Moreover, a network of strategic Alliance partners has been set up in countries where Tectura is not yet directly represented. By merging the Dutch Tectura branch with Helios-IT, one of the leading Microsoft Dynamics partners in the BeNeLux region, Helios-IT grows in strength with access to Tectura’s worldwide network. Helios-IT and Tectura have already successfully worked together with a number of different international clients. Tectura has now named Helios-IT as its Strategic Alliance Partner for BeNeLux. All Tectura Netherlands staff has transferred to Helios-IT, ensuring that all existing Tectura clients will be reassured of a smooth transition. The transfer of Tectura Netherlands assets gives Helios-IT the advantage of staff that have experience with Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV and Microsoft Dynamics™ AX competencies, a considerable amount of international experience and a new market, Life Sciences. The product/ market combinations of both organisations complement each other, as do the company cultures and the philosophies which are based on striving for quality and the highest level of service. With the Tectura® Life Science solution, Helios-IT will be able to offer appropriate business solutions from within Benelux, spanning both national and international companies, in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and biotechnological industries. The transfer also brings advantages for the clients of Helios-IT. When clients have international branches, such as in Europe, Asia or North America, Helios-IT will be able to carry out international projects together with Tectura. Helios-IT already works together with Tectura for a top brewery in Asia with its ‘Drink-IT®’ solution. This transfer of assets is one aspect of a far-reaching alliance between Tectura and Helios-IT. This alliance allows Helios-IT to fully leverage Tectura’s worldwide network (branches, clients, technology and knowledge); an important step for Helios-IT into more international activities. Helios-IT currently employs more than 100 employees in branches in Keerbergen, Sint-Niklaas, Groningen, IJsselstein and now also in Doorwerth.
