Sana Commerce 8.1
While we already started the season with a brand new edition of Sana Commerce, we now proudly announce the newest version: Sana Commerce 8.1. This edition further completes edition 8 we released at the beginning of this year. Sana Commerce 8.1 will be available on 23 December on Sana Community.
What’s in it for you? With the latest release already including a Sana Commerce edition for Dynamics AX, the newest edition 8.1 includes the following new features: - Online (pre)payments for B2B customers. In economic hard times it can be more convenient to let your B2B customers pay upfront. Sana Commerce supports online payments based on your prepayments settings from Microsoft Dynamics NAV. From your NAV client you can control your B2B customers to pay the complete amount or a part of the amount upfront. In Microsoft Dynamics AX we support the option to switch the online payments for all customers, on or off. - Improved back-office usability. We have added three usability improvements to the back-office: the copy feature enables you to set up and translate your content more quickly; with ‘edit your theme’ in the front-end editor you can see your color and style changes directly when adjusting them; plus, we added a button to open your web store from the back-office. - Quick order & order list mode. With Sana Commerce 8.1 you can quickly order your items by entering item numbers using your keyboard. Another new feature is the order list mode. By switching your product list pages to order list mode in the back-office you will turn your product list pages into ordering lists. This allows your customers to order multiple products from a single page. - Pricing, ordering and stock presentation. Using pricing, ordering and stock presentation you can control the front-end presentation for your web store users. You can enable price presentation for authenticated B2B users but disable it for anonymous (B2C) users. You can do the same with stock and order presentation. With this feature you have dozens of new presentation options to support many different web store scenarios. Interested?
