Satyam Expands Dealer Management Capability with XAPT and Microsoft Alliance
HYDERABAD, Oct. 9, 2007: Satyam Computer Services, Ltd. (NYSE:SAY), a leading global consulting and information technology services company, today announced that it has entered an alliance with XAPT Ltd. and Microsoft to provide integrated Dealer Management business solutions, based on Microsoft’s Dynamics AX Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) product.
The agreement calls for Satyam and XAPT to provide Dealer Management solutions to the world’s leading automotive and Industrial equipment manufacturers by unlocking additional value within dealer networks through addressing common dealer user problems, standardized integration points between OEM and Dealers, Out of box integration with many commonly used applications and ease of use and administration. It will also enable dealerships to realize rapid ROI through optimized operational efficiency, effective customer acquisition and relationship management, and maximized visibility, communication, and collaboration. Additionally, the alliance enables Satyam, XAPT, and Microsoft to leverage their expertise in the integrated business dynamics within numerous dealership operations, including sales, after-sales, service parts, order forecasting, customer relationship management, and inventory management.
